Rotary Table

The MMT-500-DD rotary tilt table is an extremely valuable addition to both additive and subtractive manufacturing. With its robust design, it is ideally suited to safely and stably absorbing the dynamic forces that occur during milling, for example. A particular advantage of the MMT-500-DD is its ability to rotate and swivel workpieces. This flexibility makes it possible to reach areas of the workpiece that would be difficult or impossible to access using conventional methods. A concrete application example for the use of the rotary swivel table is the production and finishing of turbine wheels. By rotating and swiveling the workpiece, the blades of a turbine wheel can initially be applied precisely.

The MMT-500-DD is characterized by its high precision and exceptional torsional rigidity, which are among its main features. This rotary tilt table is made from two solid castings, which ensure an extremely stable and robust structure. Another noteworthy aspect is the water-cooled direct drive, which enables efficient and reliable performance. This is complemented by a high-resolution encoder, which ensures precise positioning and movement control.Thanks to the combination of the stable structure and the precise encoder, extremely precise milling applications can be carried out.

The configuration of the system is decisive for the integration of the rotary/tilt table. The MMT-500-DD can be integrated directly into the control cabinet without additional axes. For larger systems that also include a milling spindle, a linear track and a rotary swivel table, a larger control cabinet should be used to accommodate all components safely and efficiently. For such more complex requirements, we also supply the MMT-500-D with a specially designed control cabinet that takes the special requirements into account.
